Who is up for another fly tomorrow (Thursday). Looks like it will be a low wind day, as does Friday for most part.
I am happy with either day but if its Friday I wont be available till around 12:00 – 12:30.

I have the new ZOHD Kopilot fitted to the Fox glider so will be interesting to see how it performs and how the RTH and Auto Launch works.

Once again (and for the foreseeable future we will need to stay clear of the Lunch Humpy (with the 4sqm rule now in play, internal space limits us to around 2 only in the shed at one time so easiest to just not use it) and practice appropriate social distancing at the field.

Bring your own cut lunch & drink and all should work out fine.
Post if you are keen & we can make a decision later tonight if tomorrow or Friday are best.

Looking like a good sailing day Saturday as well but we will need to severely limit the skippers on the pontoon & jetty to comply with isolation requirements.

      I’ll give it till 8:00pm to see if anyone else checks in then make the call but if its just the two of us then Tomorrow it will be.

      The ZOHD Kopilot was very simple to set up (hopefully I’ve got it right) and seems to be doing all that it should. Virtually the same as Kermit’s Sparrow AP.

      The only real hassle I had was getting the Motive-RC R8SB receiver into Mode 4 (SBUS Mode).

      The supplied instructions are wrong but after heaps of searching on the net I found one note from someone that had sorted it out. Works fine now.

      The trick when changing modes is DONT short press to lock in, just select the mode you want, leave the lights flashing then bind it to the Transmitter, that then locks the mode.
