Saturday – not Friday – looks like a possible weather window for a fly.
But Tuesday looks like the best with much lighter winds.
Is anyone interested?

Saturday is better for me as I’m taking the mother in law back home to Mathinna Tuesday.

Looks too windy Saturday with 12kts forecast at Sandford. So my vote is for Tuesday with forecast as of today. But I can be available Saturday Monday or Tuesday.

I also think Tuesday is the better day both temperature & wind wise.

Tuesday Fly In
Only 4 intrepid pilots today but apart from Kermit (who was on cinematographer duties) everyone else flew multiple planes.
The day started off almost chilly & a bit windy & overcast but around lunch time the sun finally broke through & started to warm the day.
Thanks Kermit for providing your usual Road Kill BBQ even if I had to do most of the cooking today.
I flew the Retro Ugly Stik and it went much better today as opposed to last week when the flight controller was loose in its housing.
Also got some airtime with the Bixler 2 Sport & the 3D printed Zero, both of which flew well.
Chris spent most of the time today thermalling his glider & Karl, who arrived a bit late got in some FPV flights with one of his quadcopters & a glider.
It was disappointing that today’s organiser Seaside Mitch (Stephen) couldn’t make it due to being unwell but at least your (well Bev’s) relish was once again sampled by all that were feasting @ Kermit’s Road Kill BBQ. I’ll look after it for another week till you return to the fold.

Karl, Mike, myself and Ralph flew today and despite being almost total overcast there were good thermals even at 9 30am. Kermit wanted to sharpen his video skills so didn’t fly. His footage is great and notice there were no oops moments today.

Wow! Some top quality flying and landing there fellas. Well done.
And of course, made possible because of Kermits top quality videoing and editing. Another fine video Kermit. Well done.
Nice on board video from your planes as usual Mike 👍I look forward to attending the next one. I have thrown together a small camera and video transimitter to assist in the inav autotuning of Kermit’s Wing….

Another outstanding group of videos for all to view …I hope its not a trend that is starting to appeared with so many older flyers like the GENTLE GIANT..UNCLE G and sometimes STEPHEN although hes not that old but the trend has started….. Excuses some fair but others very sus Take for instance UNCLE G’s excuse His maid /cleaning lady wanted him NAY told him to take her 20 yo daughter out for a fun day ….Now come on … an then theres GG who never seems to have enough brownie points I have met MRS GG and fear is the first thing that comes to mind …..but still hes a big boy Thank god were getting new young fellas coming through ..KARL for instance a few lessonds from TGFS an I recon hes a winner THEN theres the excuses like the mother inlaw …love that one where we know the recipient is in fact in bed chippies and coke splattered all over the bed watching days of your life on tv yes fellow real flyers this is how our group falls apart very old flyers crashing and some near old members catching the excuse bug ……HOW do we stop the decline ..this is an open forum please add your comments so we can reverse this unfortinuate process ……………………………just say’n
