Whilst Monday is not the warmest day next week it certainly looks like the one with the least wind so anyone interested in a Monday Fly Day.

If it happens we may need to break out the whisky to celebrate Chris’s recent birthday.

If we get at least 3 or 4 I’ll put up the calendar & notify James.

I can be there by 12 as getting stitches out first but hopefully no more cutting until Friday.

Can’t do Monday but have fun (if it happens).

The RD contest will be over so I can do Monday.

It was a great day to be alive today @ the field.

Sun was shining, with virtually no breeze, definitely Teeshirt weather today.

Seven happy flyers in attendance today but no Kermit (pouring Concrete) so no Oops moments were caught on camera today.

I had a couple trying to launch a wing that had not flown for a long time, luckily no damage & I eventually got the launch right & had a 20 minute + flight with the old Sky Shadow.

Had a nice long FPV flight with the Kobuz and that is probably the only footage recorded today as everyone was too busy enjoying the flying.

Neil also had a couple of Oops moments launching his Chaser wing but luckily not too much damage other than to his pride.

Mark had a couple of Oops moments with his 3D printed Mini Cub and his Go Wolf but at least he did get some flying time in with both before the Oops!!.

Here is my only video today. I fitted machine guns to the Eyas as it was a target rich environment:

Yesterday Karl his son and I flew at Glen Huon. Here is brief Eyas footage with Karl following me in his Quad and also brief Drifter footage. Drone footage to come:

I resurrected my drone batteries that had gone into deep sleep by hot wiring them to a USB port and the 5V after a couple of minutes got them to wake up, followed b about 8 hours charging. Here is footage from Huon river near Glen Huon.
