After a couple of weeks of cancelled events due to gale force conditions, ten skippers appeared at “The Pond” for some keen racing today. The wind screwed around sometimes 90 degrees and variations in wind strength from no wind to about 2.5 knots continued most of the day. Handicap results were as follows:
1 Rijk Hendricks – 18 points
2 David Read – 22 points
3 Ray Phillips – 26 points
4 Greg Wing – 33 points
5 Phil Taylor – 34 points (visitor)
6 Pruce Palmer – 35 points
7 Roger Woolley – 42 points
8 Peter Cole – 49 points
9 Shane Morgan – 56 points
10 David Poon – 72 points
