And what a great day it turned out to be, slightly chilly early & quite windy but the day warmed up by mid morning & the wind virtually disappeared (and even a couple of thermals made an appearance).
We had eight pilots today + a couple of visitors tagging along with Fab.
After a few failed attempts Kermit did finally manage to get “Big Greenie (V2) off the ground and it was flying well until the wings folded (funny how that happens when you don’t use a wing spar) but he is getting there !!
He also test flew his Phantom 2 that fell from the sky last fly day, seems to be all fixed even though it flew away in the wind.
I don’t think anyone else had any hiccups bu the videos could well show otherwise as you often miss whats happening around the field when you are flying as well.
Couple more videos to go, probably tomorrow

PRELIMINARY REPORT ON BIG GREEN EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT IMPACT
This report is for big green experimental high wing 5mm foam board built material :
As an experimental home built aircraft that was superbly built to the highest standard in the home built category We found the left main wing spar failed under server wind disturbance causing the wing to separate from the fuselage resulting in the aircraft removing itself from the space between the ground and the air ..it was noted with numerous video evidence that big green failed to turn to starboard at an appropriate time .this was determined to be caused by rudder flex in the steering configuration and not the brilliant TOP GUN FLIGHT SCHOOL instructors fault due to his outstanding airmanship he brought the sickened aircraft to an area in which no harm could be caused to visitors or other airman
This board has concluded the instructor /pilot KERMIT LA FROG did display the highest level of airmanship
In this mishap and we exonerate said pilot and find no cause to proceed further
This safety board incident is now closed to further discussion and the decision is final

DIDNT KNOW THAT HOPPY I SHALL FIND OUT .. TA.. ITS ONLY WHEN SOMEONE request a fly day IM out for 4 days post opp surgery on my eye starting today WHEN TO fly is when some one request a fly day and then we vote for that day or later day The fly day should be requested well in advance so personal arrangements can be made to suit then our boss post it on the calender an we vote… an then find we out if its on …. ok ….how about that half a doozen worsmispwelt i can sweee……………………………………………jwust swayn

Kermit are those 3 aliens the ones operating on your butt ? Im sure you will be better by Wednesday which looks like being a good flying day especially the afternoon, though you may not be able to sit down. I have a few carbon spar arrow shafts, if u want them you can collect from my place in Howrah, or I can bring when we fly.

What an amazing set of videos and some irrefutable evidence of inappropriate things happening before and in the air.
So the big question is will the next meeting of the Flying Field Wallaby Court accept the accuracy of the claims made in the allegedly “independent” PRELIMINARY REPORT ON BIG GREEN EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT IMPACT.
Public assertions already made by some members of the Court suggest there could be a split decision… But who punting on that?

AS far as I know Milk Crate ATSB have stopped their probes ….there was some discomfort… BUTT no finger pointing has been extended towards any one so hopefully No more probes No more BUTTS just clean hands and an end to the BUTTSs and I can sit down and relax hoping there wont be an internal probe BUTT you can never tell. with the ATSB they like to wiggle their fingers ay ………………………………………………………………………….just sayn
