A good turn up today with Kermit, Gerald, Mike, Phil & Dave all eager to take to the air.
Unfortunately the weather gods did not deliver on their promise of a fine day today, when we arrived at the allotted time it was spitting on and off but a couple of us opted to fly anyway.
By 10:30 it was raining quite heavily so we needed to erect the camping shelter on Kermit’s vehicle to get out of the rain.
Then we waited, and we chatted & waited some more.
By around 11:45 it was still raining so we decided to have lunch early. With lunch out of the way and the rain finally stopped & the sun out it was time for everyone to fly. The air was quite busy at times with multiple planes getting workouts but as luck would have it there were NO Oops moments today (well perhaps just a couple of little ones).
Not long after 1:00pm the rain returned so it was decided to pack up & of course as this was completed the rain stopped again.
We did have a visit from Scott & Andrew but neither were flying today.

At least when it wasn’t raining there was no wind so flying conditions were perfect.

Once again from the viper stalls superb videos from the aircraft now if only the sinker could produce simular quality or even a video that is edited to perfection and enjoyable to watch …BUT as there is no glory involved in flying vids and there is no judge to bribe so no win no videos from the cleaning ladys man ……………………………………………………………just sayn

Another fine video of the days action from Jumping Frog Productions (aka Toad Hall Productions).
Nice to see the camera lens is clean finally.

Great videos of the action, the rain was a bit of a bugger but when we could fly it was very calm and steady. Enjoyable morning flying and we had a great afternoon at the duck with the A class. All went well without a drop in the bilge. 😎

KERMIT’ what can I say, I wonder what the milk crate reference had to do with flying at the field, please explain as a famous person once said and as I’m also a famous person ‘please explain’ now I could go on forever talking about milk crates for your information but I’m intending to do my phd on just that particular subject so I won’t bore you with the finer details, however, addressing that special tribute at the end of your production it was really truly scary to one’s memory from 23 December 2023 at precisely 1432 hrs but now my real concern is that this reckless and horrific stunt went horribly wrong and now not only does the flight line gang have a disabled sheep shagger but now a green tree frog as well, oh well just as well for tasty hospital sandwiches but I suppose or in the case of the green frog a bug and mosquito sandwich along with no real consequences for the perpetrator of this horrific stunt who I imagine is hiding in the dragon’s lair, also just say’n
