Twelve skippers enjoyed fine conditions at the Pond again today. We had a nice steady breeze – perfect for these boats, predominately north to north easterly enabling 9 three lap races to be completed. Thanks to Bruce, Ant and David for their input into setting our courses. Just about everyone enjoyed them, bravo! Andrew won overall honours with very consistent results. He was followed by our most improved Greg and Ant (both with 3 wins). Interesting to note only 5 points separated 2nd place to 7th highlighting the competitive nature of our racing. Well done all. We also welcomed a newcomer Stephen Smith (not the cricketer) who contacted David after seeing the notice in the Post Office window. Hope you enjoyed the outing Stephen. Scratch racing next Friday guys being the last Friday of the month and also the summer sadly. Cheers Pete.
