Another good day of keen racing at the Pond today in fine conditions with a steady breeze enabling nearly the full length of the Pond to be utilised. All up 17 boats hit the water (a group record!!) with 16 competing as Bob Burrows, a newcomer just had a “familiarisation” outing which he enjoyed. Nine races were recorded out of our usual ten as we had a no race due to issues at the recording station and a lot of boats crossing the line in quick succession ( shout out to Phil B who was first across in that one!). Overall honours went to Bruce, followed by Ant Mountain and Andrew Roberts (another visitor) on the day with eight different winners showcasing the competitiveness at our venue. Well done to all participating. Cheers Pete.
