Temperature was a very pleasant 19 degrees but the wind was rather strong when eight intrepid pilots turned up at the field today.

From memory everyone had several flights & there were no incidents to speak of.

Even Kermit had a very pleasant flight with his big Carbon Cub.

I had a second flight with my 3D printed Zero (after having to replace the prop and motor shaft as a result of a less than acceptable first landing last week).

Today I was using a 9 x 6 prop & the replacement motor shaft was shorter than the original. The lower pitch prop had increased the overall speed of the Zero & even with quite a bit of aerobatics the Zero still managed a 15 minute flight using a 3S 2200mAh 25C battery.

Fab & Gadget made it along this time after missing the last few fly in’s but made up for it today with plenty of air time.

Greg piked out at flying his “Wild Wing”, too windy he said. He did however manage some airtime with his home brew foam board construction trainer.

No doubt Kermit’s video will show all the antics from everyone else that I missed while flying.

A couple of my onboard videos

      and one from the HandyCam

Another fine video from Toad Hall Productions, caught all the action I missed when flying.

Not a bad turn up for a tad ordinary windy day.

Most appropriate My Sinker, most appropriate.

Perhaps he was trying it out on Miss Piggy “pigs will fly” and maybe that is the reason for all these Doctor & lawyer visits .
