Another written masterpiece by Shorty, you captured the day perfectly.
unfortunately Pete Germein misplaced his transmitter in R5 after his boat was beached on the opposite side of the pond. It is a Flysky with dark blue lanyard with a sticker on the back of it numbering his fleet. Pete did return to PDV, with no joy in finding it outside and checked with staff as well.
can everyone please check their gear boxes to ensure it hasnβt been taken in error. Pete is flying out to WA late Friday. If found please contact Peter on M 0407 961 196 or myself Β on M0418 123 644
thanks Bodge
I failed to mention that as we had 10 minutes up our sleeve before drinks were due, an invitational sprint one lap race with scratch start was suggested. From memory all thirteen skippers competed but I have no idea who won, as I was too busy retrieving my boat from the bank π
Maybe someone may know of the final result there please ….
Another great write up Shorty π thank you π
ps Calendar sorted π
Hallo there Durmit la frog,
I have no idea …. suggest they have forgotten their login details
Cheers
Hi Dermit,
Yes with our spelling mistakes, poor grammar, we try to make entertaining reading eh
Cheers Dodgie π
Great write up Gadget and well done on your 5th place, it was tough going out there today.
Just a friendly reminder to all skippers, that if you infringe, a penalty of Β a 360 deg turn should be completed. Remember we want racing to be enjoyable (itβs not a championship) and by not doing your penalties, causes angst amongst other skippers. Letβs keep it fun eh ! βΊοΈπ
Great write up Shorty π, you managed to redeem yourself in the last race with a podium and a handicap if Β we went into R9 π

Amended results ………. YAY I won (sorry Rod)

Hey Bluey, I just googled it, you are correct π I am happy again π
I will definitely catch up with shortie now ππ
I just plugged the numbers into Shorties spreadsheet and ran with. I will check with him next time I see him, but I wasnβt 100% how count back works
Nice write up Shorty π
The next DF95 day (Tuesday4/11/25) will also coincide with a return of our bi-monthly post sailing luncheon, the menu has changed slightly but the pies will still be on offer. The three of us each devoured the lamb pie today and is as good as ever. So is the TGR wine π·.
The Xmas Sail anything day is planned for Tuesday 23rd December, however this year it will be their normal menu on offer which will include pizzas π which Ange has advised are very yummy. Due to change in operation the BBQ is no longer an option ( Darren & Jackie took it with them π)
