    Yes for me.

Karl, Mike, myself and Ralph flew today and despite being almost total overcast there were good thermals even at 9 30am. Kermit wanted to sharpen his video skills so didn’t fly. His footage is great and notice there were no oops moments today.

Tomorrow should be a nice day and today was nice for the Roulettes at 9am from Rosny bluff.

Was a nice day wind wise but a lot of mud and weed to contend with at the canal today. Here is footage from both ends of the waterway.

Looks too windy Saturday with 12kts forecast at Sandford. So my vote is for Tuesday with forecast as of today. But I can be available Saturday Monday or Tuesday.

This Friday looks nice for a fly but I still cant post a calendar event or find the perpetual flying forum.

It was a great day weather wise to fly. There was a good turn out and most stayed for the BBQ. Andrew had a minor bingle and also we had great thermal flights in out gliders. Here is brief footage of Kermits parachute drops and Karl’s super fast pylon racer.

Ok for me and Mike has put up a calendar entry.

Well done on reclaiming the jetty. As it is my wedding anniversary I was denied permission to attend but glad you had Andrew as your wingman.

We missed Kermit and his camera today as there were many bingles, none of which were properly caught on my camera. But at the end of my footage at least wre caught Stephen’s Walk of Shame when his Boomerang failed to return.

Since we were banned from the jetty Stephen and I manned the rescue boat at Midway Pt instead, for the B14 dinghy Natioanal Regatta. 10 races on my youtube channel, here is Race 1, with some commentary from Stephen.

Nice footage Kermit and looks like Predators 3D printer will be busy for a while. Happy New Year to all.

in reply to: Mid Week Fly In (Summer is finally here) #20439

Andrew (GG), Greg, Warwick and myself went for a one hour slope soar session at South Arm Dunes around lunch time today whilst you lot were glued to the cricket! Here is some brief footage. We need either a westerly wind for Tranmere to work or SE seabreeze for the dunes. If anyone else would like to participate let me know but its not suitable for flight controllers and a small glider or electric glider is needed. And there is a risk of mid air collisions as we fly in a small area so cheap foamies such as reject shop chuck gliders are the best for starting out.

Someone chose a great day and there were nice thermals for my new glider. Anyone up for a pre Christmas fly? Else Merry Xmas.

    Either ok for me.
