RC AIRCRAFT BUILDS Electric Powered Airspeed Oxford Prop restoration

      I was given this prop from the widow next door who sees me with my planes a lot. Its stamped as AS Cheetah which is the Armstrong Siddley radial engine and DEC 1942 so its older than some of our members. Its from a twin engined Airspeed Oxford which was used by the RAAF for bomb crew and navigation training. A crew of 4 was normal.

      Kermit has volunteered to restore it for our clubhouse so this thread is for help and advice! Gerald thinks it should be ready by Saturday.

      Seems like shellac is the preferred prop finishing protection, no doubt the lac bugs are eaten by frogs!
