Another biggin’

Well, the Predator fleet of fine aircraft is growing yet again.

Yesterday I scored a 2.55 metre (was advertised @ 2.8 metre but it’s NOT) Blanik L13 powered glider, from one of the Marine Modeller group who is downsizing his fleet due to limited flying time these days.

It is complete (minus a receiver) and from initial tests today it all seems to work as it should. Needs a little bit of ironing to tighten up the wing covering in a few spots & the landing wheel needed removal to free it up a bit but otherwise good to go.

I have been told it flies (powered) and glides extremely well and it is fairly light for its size so it will be interesting to maiden it in the coming weeks.

I have ordered a Makeksys FC-F411-WTE flight controller and as soon as that arrives it will be in the air.

If anyone is interested Peter still has 3 or 4 smaller planes for sale at almost give away prices.

usual stuff etc)

4 Vintage Frog 45 (Rudder and elevator). (+ motor prop etc.)
(original kit was around in late 1940’s)

I looked at the others yesterday, some very interesting models & none need much work to get them flying. I just wasn’t game to bring home more than one.

Can’t go wrong at the asking price.

Peter is slow to answer emails but he does definitely answer them.
