Another Thursday Fly Day 11-6-26

It was another fine flying day @ the field today with 9 in attendance on what turned out to be a virtually windless (and crash free) day, well at least till the wind kicked in after lunch.

Attendees were Neil, Andrew, Scott, Ron, Rian, Mike, Dave, Gerald & newcomer Mark, who finally got to fly his 3D printed Eclipson Go Wolf.

There were a few issues with the A3 V2 stabiliser in the Wolf, which eventually died completely (luckily I had a spare) but once all the teething bugs were sorted Mark (only his 3rd RC plane flight) and his Go Wolf flew beautifully.

I got to test the repaired Sky Shadow wing (went well) and the Sonic64 wing with newly 3D printed EDF fan enclosure (also went well).

Ron flew his foamboard Spitfire, 3Dprinted Zero and his Tundra. Andrew also had his 3D printed Zero as well as one of the big gliders.

Scott had a couple of electric planes as well as his Roulettes Nitro Jet and I think another Nitro plane as well.

Neil flew his big FPV plane on multiple trips, both FPV & LOS.

Not sure what Gerald & Dave were flying today as there is no video to check when writing these notes.

Unfortunately our resident videographer Kermit B De Mille was missing in action again today (more Dr appts) although I think Gerald may have caught a shot of one of Kermit’s siblings handing around the “RoadKill” BBQ.

I think everyone else was too busy flying to be shooting videos..

I’m not sure frogs in hoodies should be trusted around “Amber liquid” or knives. !!

arhhhhh the amber fluids I never expected cousin kerm to turn up at the field to play with the most notorious non conformists aviators in this state  but there ya go whilst Im getting a needle thrown into my eye hes getting stuck into the turps   he looks happy dosent he   well done MR SINKER cobber not often kerm shows up standing and for a photo as well …….love it     …………………………………………………………………..just say’n
