Forecast weather conditions for today influenced some sailors to start with an A sail because it looked like it was going to get nasty. The wind started off northerly which favours Puddleduck but then on occasions, shifted westerly and then to surprise us, turned south!
We had it all today, quiet moments with not much happening to overpowering gusts . All in all, quite a mixed sailing day with a few entanglements to boot.
Lisa attended again with no doubt to get her eye in leading up to the Peter Smith Memorial Regatta on the 6th March but didn’t seem to have the best day today. Best to get the bugs out before the big day anyway.
Congratulations to Trout, Stuart and Ian for first, second and third respectively.
