And what a glorious day it was. The sun was shining, temp a balmy 20 degrees & very little wind till it picked up around midday.
Pretty good turn up today as well with Kermit, Stephen, Gerald, Ron & myself all enjoying a fly or three before the lunch time BBQ hosted as usual by Kermit.
No serious incidents today, I broke a prop on my Ugly Stik after experiencing a bit of wind sheer when flying very low & also cracked a canopy on the Bix3 Sport when it came off and went through the prop after hitting turbulence when flying after lunch (in the wind).
Kermit had some airtime with his Bix 3 and given that today was a bit special (being first fly for 2024) he also flew “Big Whitie” for a few laps of honour around the field.
Ron was playing with his 3D printed Hurricane & Spitfire, without incident today & as usual Stephen was tinkering with his Gas powered Boomerang & well as getting some flying in on his Red Devil.
Gerald flew his Eyas Eagle & I think his ZOHD Drift.

Dearest gentle giant HA I had the sinker doing a bit of filming for me an guess what he’s almost as bad as you I said almost there is no damage to the camera after he has used it I can’t really go crook at him he is a graduate from top gun flying school and our best so far perhaps its about time for you to enrolled you spend so much time away from the field just hanging from rafters doing shoppin etc ……………………………………………………………just sayn
