FMS Firefly flying at Mathinna NE Tasmania

Popped up to Mathinna for the Mother-in-laws birthday and couldn’t resist the tempation of sneaking a plane in the car before I left.

Following are three short videos of the FMS Firefly taken from my wobbly head cam. Two in the afternoon and one at dusk which was scarier that I thought it would be!

That was fun  YAH A GAME BUGGAR THAT’S FOR SURE   well done great video may be we should have a night flight  crash an burn night  ………………………………………………………………………..just sayn

That’s a great idea Kermit. If we have a “crash and burn” fly on a cool evening, we can gather around to keep warm! 😂😂😂

I think twilight may be better than midnight.

You did well to land it with that light level.

Thanks Mike. I had intended to start flying just before sunset, around 6:30pm to get used to it. Unfortunately I got there around 7pm, near last light which was a bit too dark to get my bearings.
