The little Foxbat Ultralite is another of Graeme C’s scratch built aircraft that I acquired a little while ago.
I have relocated the ESC from under the dashboard to inside the engine cowling. This should result in better ESC cooling and it makes the battery much easier to install.
I have also installed a pin lock system on the wings & wing struts as the tiny screws were a pain to install & remove
The wing strut lock pins are secured with silicone cooling tube
while the Wing spar lock pin is secured behind a small screw.
An A3 stabiliser has temporarily been installed till I found out how the little Ultralite handles & this is coupled to a Lemon RX (why-because I had one) and programmed to the Spektrum protocol on the new Jumper T16 Pro radio.
A couple of Foxbat logo’s have been added to tart her up a bit and she should be ready to take to the air on our next flying day.
Hopefully it will fly as well as the real ones.
