We had another perfect boating day at the canal. Warm, sunny, light breeze and a medium tide.
We had a bit of drama down our end, one of the boats shipped a bit of water over the stern which must have gotten into its receiver.
It then had a mind of its own and went into full reverse and dragged itself under. It stopped after a while and was pushed to the nearest shore for recovery.
And Kermit, I had nothing to do with it, my boat was in the car, and I was holding the camera…………………………………. Just sayn

yes well the Sinkers video did show a fair bit of action a lot actually but a true video needs more to win the coveted canal trophy just like my video classy. action , humour , wonderful editing the list is long an true to our genre So…. good try Mr sinky better luck next time ……………………………………………..just say’n

A short video from me today as I dont need a long one to win the canal trophy ..there was 3 sailing today or rather 2 an a bit the bit was bigus dickus who had his swamp buggy doing what swampy things do Today I sailed with a surperb sailor a man standing on a jetty that can smell the air an tell ya that your at the sea a sea dog that watches the female joggers joggin an tells all about what shoes their wearing yeh narh yeh a good day sailing the dreaded Sinker arrived stirred then stirred again an left and biggus dickus turned up took a lot of video of the gentle giant ramming my boat …….I think GG doest like me … ANYHOWS days end No sinking No going aground No electrical issues …fantastic ……………………………………….just say’n

just finished talking to BA he said just give it (the trophy to me ) so lets not wait ..say todays winner is KERMIT for his outstanding visual presentation of the days event and Second the sinkers less exciting video not worth evaluating ….thats what your thinking of saying was’nt it MR JUDGE SIR………………………………just say’n

Well after looking at this week’s videos I will give the trophy to the Sheep Shagger, very creative although it did not represent the true facts of the day.
Second place will go to Mr Sinker for his video of the sinking of the titanic.
Last place to Kermit for his video, but he does a good job in trying to take video and sail his yacht at the same time.
Special note this week, Kermit did not break down or run aground which is a first for him…… congratulations

Self preservation was the motavating factor for this wise decision may I suggest next time we sail we dont tell the sheep shagger ..that being said The gentle giant must have checked his bank balance because the Sinker yes the Sinker the man who earnrd his nick name for what he does best has taken second place just because his video portrayed one of his wheelchair mobs boat sinking Now i’m not saying or inferring that the sinker would interfere in another mans boat for dramatic visual effect just to win the canal trophy ..but… his videos have been lagging of late and with this ACCIDENTAL sinking he gets Second place now ifn the sheep shaggers presentation wasnt so disturbing he might have achieved first place what with his pay for win offering an what about the sheep shaggers nick names Well the first one is self explanatory he’s from New Zeeeelund BAD ANGEL wellp this one comes from his grandchild a child who called him an angel because she couldnt say scary but why bad .He needed milk for his tea one day so whilst the young’n was distracted he removed the childs milk bottle removed most of the milk an replaced the bottle but not fast enough ..bad angel .. The last nick name is again self explanatory bigus dickus …………………………………………………………………….just say’n
