Well the resident weather guru (Seaside Mitch) certainly picked another fine day for flying today & we had a decent turnup to boot with 7 pilots ready to hone their skills.
Kermit was maidening his rather large Carbon Cub SS and whilst he only got around to one flight it went off without a hitch.
Same can’t be said for his “Big Greenie”, today it had enough power to get airborne (with a 6S only just) but it needs some strengthening of the elevator to stop it flexing all the time.
Apart from his uneventful maiden with the Cub the poor Frog was well out of luck with all his other flights & almost lost his Freeman in the quite strong winds just before lunch.
I had a bit of an issue with the Wild Wing but at least the Blanik Glider & Bix 2 Sport flew well.
Stephen flew “Big Red” & Peter brought along his unflown Tigre 40 powered trainer for show & tell.
Not sure what the others flew as I was a bit busy today assisting others & trying to get a bit of my own flying in as well.
Usual BBQ lunch around midday (thanks Kermit) then back to a bit more flying.
Hopefully we will have “Sheep Shagger” Ross back in the air next time we fly. I an setting up his radio as mode 3 as we figure that will be the easiest for him to operate with his crippled hand, Mode 3 & a decent SpeedyBee F405 Wing Mini flight controller should have him flying FPV again just like old times.

I THANK the honerable MR. Sinker for his video on how to and how not to fly at my request I asked the sinker would he do this video for my many many students because I had a computer crash and lost my opps files and student training videos for TOP GUN FLIGHT SCHOOL … we both performed our assigned tasks perfectly so again thank you my dear friend ………………. outstanding video …………………………………………………………………just sayn

IT seems Im on a roll with thank you’s My new camera man MR GADGET performed flawlessly with the camera its good that I can hand over the camera when I fly so I can also enjoy the look backs as well with the opps moment My appoligies goes out to the PREDATOR for the repetisious opps moments …… for the life of me i just couldnt find the end of em ALSO while Im here if it wasnt for predator the cub wouldnt have flown nor the big green well done cobber outstanding ……………………………………………………..just sayn
