What a lovely day for a sail. 10 fine gentlemen cruised into the Duck this morning to be met with a mirror. Fortunately a small shifty breeze arrived to help us get under way under the guidance of Buzzy (master course setter) who had us sailing a triangle course with buoys on the port. Some relished this and settled into a comfortable lead over the rest of us right from the start. Probably wont be doing that course again if Phil Mackey(needs a nickname) and Ant are there. Brainy blamed the Smiling Assassin for having his own personal breeze but still struggled to get some for himself even when he stuck close to Phil. Graeme slaughtered the field in the RG class and never looked like losing on the day. In the DF group Phil Mackey was a clear winner on 14, with Ant on 19 second and the unlucky Brainy third on 20. Thanks as usual to Sue and Bonny manning the finish. Cheers Dennis
