G’day all, 14 legends turned up today at the Duck, only to be met by a mill pond with not a ripple and zero wind. Not to be daunted, we drifted and eventually a very light breeze appeared and we were off! Unfortunately it only resulted in 3 races completed in the first hour even with a short course set around the close in bouys. Finally a light wind arrived and the course was restored to the normal figure eight pattern and we managed 3 more races in the second hour. No real dramas today, minimal collisions, no bouy hookups and only a few groundings. A welcome return to Bloody Geoff even though his health continues to be a worry to all. Honours on the day went to Ant Mountain followed by Phil Mackey with Dennis (the Menace) third. In the RG class Gadget and Cooka shared the resuts perfectly with 3 wins each. Thanks again to our team of helpers, particularly Sue, Graeme and Bonnie. Cheers Dennis
