19 good looking sailors arrived at the Duck today, including the return of Bloody Geoff and Bil Fromberg. Geoff attempted to assist with course maintenance by trying to move the old fountain with a DF65. Thanks for trying mate, but I don’t think it budged a millimetre. Not to be outdone Todd showed his versatility with a demonstration of one man synchronised swimming, or maybe it was freestyle diving. Any way the score results have come in with 8 points for effort, but only 4 points for style mate. Unfortunately no video was available. Sometimes the breeze was nice and steady, but some occasional random calm holes allowed the leaders to come to a complete standstill and let the fleet sail straight past them a number of times. Some sailors actually complained about that, amazing! Consitent racing by Phil Mackey saw him take first place in DF65 and combined scoring, followed by Bluey and Ant. In DF65 only, placings were Phil Mackey, Ant and Richard third. RG95 as usual was Bluey first and Graeme second. The final big effort of the day was given to our intrepid scorer Sue, who beat her own personal best with 17 entries written down in 17 seconds with zero errors, well done Sue. Thanks again to all those who helped along the way today. Dennis B
