The hardy eight who sailed today enjoyed the best waether we have had for a while. Sunny most of the time, a nice breeze (as good as it getts at the Duck), lots of shift and special swings generated by the big gum tree as usual. Our resident entertainer Poonie demonstrated some new trick ways get a keel stuck on a bouy, this gave others plenty of practice on the techniques required to unstick a boat without resorting to the dinghy. Once again Mr Consistancy (aka Trout/Dicky knee/dodgy back) showed us how it should be done. Well done Trout and well done Brainy in second with Trumpy Boy third. As usual our master of ceremonies Sheep did an immaculate job keeping the rougher elements under control. Good to see young Benny having a sail (in shorts of course). Cheers Dennis
