Well, the rain cleared on schedule around 10am, but the breeze failed to arrive. After a delayed start the 8 hardy souls who turned up ‘raced’ off anyway. A few times the lightest of puffs got everyone excited only to be left drifting minutes later. Anyway, we managed to get 6 races completed, with the last few on a shortened course, set by the amazing Trout, who did a top job as acting Sheep for today. Nick went out of his way to provide some extra entertainment with his shiny new sails and his technical issues, but Trout saved the day by lending him a boat for the last few races. A great start on the first race saw Brainy bolt away for a comfortable win and he continued with a consistent performance to come out on top today. JP in second place only 2 points back Andrew Roberts only 1 point behind JP. Thanks everyone and it turned out worth the effort to turn up in spite of the lack of good wind. Sheep is a bit under the weather having lost his voice. Some may say that is a blessing, but only temporarily of course. Get well soon mate.
