Well twelve top class sailors arrived at the Duck today. A nice gusty NNW breeze had everyone a bit excited, even though the sheltered location of the pond kept the worst of the wind away. Clearly the experienced sailors ignored the forecast gales and rain, but a few panicked and changed to B rigs. Only two races in though Sheep graciously let those clowns change back to A rigs which worked well for the rest of the day. Almost everyone managed to get on the podium by the end, but Buzzy gave us all a lesson on how to keep out of the handicaps most of the time with a string of thirds and only a couple of podiums. That left him well clear in front with Big Al and JP second and third. As usual the fabulous Sheep kept a tight control of the usual collisions, start line jumpers and buoy dodgers. An enjoyable day’s sailing guys.
