Report & Scores by John (Shorty) Short
There was plenty of variation in the wind today. Every race featured some calm patch and some gusts of up to 10 knots. Despite this, close racing and close finishes were the order of the day.
Stuart Harris generously loaned his boat to Dave Poon for most of the races and also gave him some expert coaching tips. Dave is in the process of getting himself a DF95 to complement his 65 and allow him to race every Tuesday.
Trout was winner today one point ahead of Jammy with myself taking third spot.
One feature of today’s results was that everyone won at least one race except our overall winner – which again proves that the secret to success in series racing is to have consistently good results rather than a scattering of great races.
