After much soul searching, gnashing of teeth and double/triple checking forecast info The decision was made to cancel today’s DF95 day @ da duck. The forecast on all channels was for continued rainfall, 100% cloud cover and winds gusting anything up to 28 knots. Not great, but turned out to be accurate.
Many thanks to the many messages of support for the postponing of today’s sailing from the Merry Men. Like you I hate to let even a single days sailing go by, but today would have been uncomfortable torture … not the fun you want nor expect from a day @ da Duck.
Thanks again and I hope to see you all next Tuesday @ our favourite pond.
