Puddleduck Vineyard Racing 27-04-2021

It was a fine day @ the Duck today for DF65 racing with 9 skippers sailing and Sue starting races, scoring & doing her best to keep us all honest.

There was a small amount of weed getting picked up occasionally but the biggest obstacle today was the Fountain water feed line just floating under the surface for many metres and in a perfect position to snag the unwary as they headed for the finish line.  I think most skippers got caught at least once.

Kermit will no doubt be posting some great video a bit later

There were 8 races with 2 drops. Remember to aid in the fairness of the scoring system you can no longer drop your DNS/DNF results.

The days results after some very close racing were;

First Place #80 Geoff on 15 points

Second Place #11 Trouty on 18 points

Third Place #02 Gerald on 19 points (count back = 2 x 1, 2 x 2 & 2 x 3)

Fourth Place # 52 Graeme also on 19 points (count back = 2 x 1, 2 x 2 & 1 x 3)
