Our favourite scorer Sue was not present today so we tried the Forcett Lakes method of scoring with only taking note of first, second and third to determine positions by handicap.
We had a huge group of sailors today and the law of averages dictates that someone should get hooked up on the fountain. Well, we had two sailors hooked today.
With so many sailors, we had very congested starts and lots of bumping and crashing on the corners so, over coffee we discussed options for splitting the fleet. A suggestion which we would like to try is splitting the fleet with half sailing races 1, 3, 5 etc and the second half sailing races 2, 4, 6 etc.
The final race will be only two sailors being the winner from each of the groups.

First place – Trouty
Second place – Stuart
Equal third – Lisa and Geoff (but Geoff was hooked on the fountain in one of the races so maybe Lisa should be outright third)
