Question regarding propeller thrust…

I’m wondering if this method of measuring propeller thrust is good enough to get an idea on plane performance?

The plane weighs 600g and then after zeroing the luggage scale, full throttle gives me 1,000g of down thrust.

I’m thinking the performace of the plane should be pretty good?

From memory, with my luggage scales tied to the tail and the bench leg I get about 900kgs for the red plane. I think that flies ok 🤔

I think you may have a “k” too many Stephen, with 900kg of thrust you would be dragging the bench across the workshop.
