Just a reminder to you ol sea dogs that the inaugural Orford / Puddleduck sailing groups combine for a fun sailing day on the East Coast on Friday 17/11/23.

Button press 11am until we decide to crank up the BBQ.

location is 100m down Louisville Rd, gate on left.

BYO  boat, snags etc ( or road kill 😂) , bread , beverages, hat , sunscreen,

obviously subject to weather … to be confirmed 2-3 days out from the event

Do we need gum boots for launching and retrieving?

Unsure but to be safe if you have some, then i would take them just in case

Gumboots NOT required. The pond has dropped considerably, and there’s no rain this week.

By all means bring boots as a precaution, but don’t be put off by the remote possibility of using them..😊

Weather looks great for the visit to the Orford Radio Sailing Group on Friday. Crocks/gumboots shouldn’t be required, but probably best to put them in the car in case we get a significant rain event in the next day or two.  Details have been posted previously, however Triabunna is about a 75 minute drive from Hobart. Bodge or Dav (daveonboard@outlook.com) will be able to answer any queries.  We look forward to seeing the Puddleduck mob Friday 17th for an 11:00am starting gun.
