It was truly a glorious day at the Canal today with 24deg and light to moderate winds. A perfect day for the first day of Summer 2018.

We had a good turn up today with Moose & Predator sailing the big 10Raters, Kermit sailing his almost as large A Class Glide and the rest with a mixture of DF65’s & DF95’s.

Dave had his daughter & Grand daughter drop in for a visit and join in for a sail of dad’s/granddad’s boat.

Bad Angel (Ross) made an appearance along with IanRM and Uncle G but they weren’t sailing today.

We even had a quick visit from PeteM’s  better half, checking out just what he gets up to down at the canal.

A couple of pics (well screen grabs actually) and a video from on-board “Battle Axe”, Predators 10R

Good work Pred, it was indeed a glorious day with lots of variety in the boats and attendees.

Daves granddaughter Milly gave us all a run for our money with her skill at driving Dave’s 95’. Never having sailed RC before she quickly adapted her Laser skills to the task and did very well.

I look forward to seeing more enjoyable days like this in the future.
