Not much of a day temperature wise today (max 13 degrees at the field) but there was no rain & very little wind so the six regular pilots and our visitor Mark all enjoyed the flying.
No mishaps today (apart from me parking my Sky Shadow wing in the paddock) so all in all good all round.
Mark, who had never flown before, had one flight of my Bixler 2 Sport on the Buddy Box and by his second flight he was flying unassisted with no Buddy Box connected (admittedly the Bix 2 does have a full blown Flight controller fitted so that does make learning a lot easier. Mark has 3D printed a Go 1 Wolf powered glider and was keen to fly it but in the end decided to at least fit a basic stabiliser while he is still learning.
Ron was back from his overseas holiday and was keen to get back to flying with his Zero, Spitfire & Tundra all getting air time.
I flew the Bix 2, the BumbleBee & my Sky Shadow.
Stephen had his noisy IC powered plane doing the rounds as well as his electric Decathlon & I’m not sure what else.
Gerald had the Eyas & his ZOHD Drift (I think that is what its called) up and about & Andrew was primarily flying Gliders.
Kermit was back on camera duty today & well as providing the “Road Kill” BBQ for lunch.
