Only a small contingent of pilots flying today with Kermit, Neil, Predator, Andrew & Rian. The rest of the regulars were otherwise engaged & missed another great day.
A few minor thrills & spills (no doubt captured for posterity by Kermit & his trusty camera).
Kermit wanted to try out his new FPV goggles so I took him along as co-pilot on my FPV flight with the trusty Blanik glider.
Neil was doing some final testing on his FPV wing before installing the camera gear. Looks like the auto pilot is now set up correctly & the wing was flying well.
Rian gave a 3D plane a good workout before heading off in his Excalibur V1 for an FPV flight.
Andrew started the day with his Cessna till he lost the nose wheel yet again & then he changed to flying his gliders.
I finished off the day with a few laps with the Bixler 2 Sport with 4K camera attached.
As usual Kermit provided his superb “Road Kill” BBQ for lunch, thanks Kermit.
