And here is some footage from Geralds ex Sony camera with some soft focus feature.
Dave Andrew (GG) Warwick, daughter Chloe and myself went for a short slope soaring session this afternoon. It was cold but wind was perfect SE direction and reached 20 kts later on. One or two mid air collisions and plenty of close calls. First off here is footage of a keychain cam on my Albatross Reject Shop $20 chuck glider modified for RC.
Here is my first video with Uncle G’s very old camera as my entry to this weeks sailing video competition:
No videos from me today but I look fwd to seeing yours. Dave posted his video chasing my Navy Cub in a different thread
Oh so we have a Friday fly in as well as today’s Thursday fly?
Kermit are those 3 aliens the ones operating on your butt ? Im sure you will be better by Wednesday which looks like being a good flying day especially the afternoon, though you may not be able to sit down. I have a few carbon spar arrow shafts, if u want them you can collect from my place in Howrah, or I can bring when we fly.
Good videos. Kermit if you go to the archery range in Lauderdale you can find out where they obtain carbon arrow shafts which make good wing spars. When will we fly next?
Here is my day full size gliding with my daughter at Tonbridge. If anyone wants to try I have 2 more weeks membership ti get you over 50 percent discount. This Wed to Friday looks ok for RC stuff.
The Bushmule was amazing.
I flew my Drifter for 1st time in 3 years and Joysway Dragonfly first time FPV in 3 years.
If tip stalling move CG forward, fly with less weight and check there is washout at wing tips.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Amazing footage from the 21st. But what was the tumble 2 minutes in? Did you clip my glider? Usually Mike makes a thread for each flying day so better to post your videos to that so those flying that day can see.</p>
I can do Friday until noon or Thursday all day.
Ok for me
Yes was a great day and I got one 20min thermal flight in my little VTail glider. Then I did my first FPV flight for 3 years and it was nice to see the views again. I then tried unsuccessfully to score a polo goal.
