Regular Activities
Saturday
RC Boating @ Lauderdale Canal (off the Jetty)
Most Saturdays (weather permitting), members sail RC yachts ranging in size from the tiny Micro Magic right up to the Majestic A Class but with a focus on DragonForce DF65’s & DragonFlite DF95’s.
Drop in, say hello and try out RC sailing for yourself on one of our members boats – it is an ageist free and gender neutral family activity that is a lot of fun and very addictive.
Scale Model & High Speed electric model boats are also part of our members interests and they are often in use at this venue also.
Tuesday
Tuesday a series of DF65/DF95 races are held at Puddleduck Vineyard, near Richmond. For anyone wishing to improve their RC sailing skills and have fun racing in a friendly and supportive environment this is a great way to start.
Drop in, say hello and have a sail of one of our members boats and see for yourself what fun it is.
Format is usually DF65’s one week & DF95’s the next, but any boat any week is welcome.
RC Flying at the Field
Generally we fly mid week and all members and their guests are welcome however, as the flying field is private property with locked access gates please contact Ross (Bad Angel) or Mike (Predator) before just turning up and hoping to fly.
Calendar
Check the calendar to be sure of what is happening and when.
