To be fair it was a bit windy in the gusts. My boat remained in the car and will need little work to be sailable next week. Reckon Kermit and GG will have some repairs to do this week.
Ok Mr Frog – seeing will be believing. Rudder servo has been replaced so I hope to do better than last week.
Tough day at the Canal. It was also very lonely without the amphibian. Not too much wind when I got there so set up the A rig only to find that the mast stub and main boom were locked together – new bearings required I suspect. I then set up the B rig and that seemed to encourage the wind. It got a bit blustery and my rig was not set up as well as it should be. Boat flew in the gusts but was a bit difficult to control.
Only cost today was a lost pair of sunglasses off the end of the pontoon. It happens!

Numbers were a bit light today but the sailing was hot. The was sufficient breeze to run a number of races and the pink sailed 65 again dominated.

I am tied up doing family stuff today, but I will miss your sailing lessons.
I had a good hour of sailing but then the wind died and I struggled to get the boat back to the pontoon. With Kermit away I was a clear winner in the races – think “King of the Canal”.
Well I will be a bit lonely, but then again I might get to win a couple of races so It won’t be all bad.
Ok, confession time. As Kermit had the day off it was left up to me to run aground – well in to the weeds really!!
