I had a good hour of sailing but then the wind died and I struggled to get the boat back to the pontoon. With Kermit away I was a clear winner in the races – think “King of the Canal”.
Well I will be a bit lonely, but then again I might get to win a couple of races so It won’t be all bad.
Ok, confession time. As Kermit had the day off it was left up to me to run aground – well in to the weeds really!!
I think that the pink flyer will be missing tomorrow – family stuff!!
Looking forward to your tales Mr Frog.
Who removed Ron’s sign????
I great day of fun in the sun. Conditions were a little variable making it possible to go from zero to hero in a split second, and back to zero even quicker. A great bunch of sailors and a well organised event. I will be back for the next one.
By golly is there no end to the things you will do to win?
I reckon James Cook would have turned right at Louisville Rd. Is this part of your master plan to get the older sailors lost??
Looking forward to a great day of sailing.
Thank you for rescuing my boat this morning. Much appreciated.
Conditions were tough but the racing was very close.
Very enjoyable sail in trying conditions. Some of the mark roundings were very interesting.
Great day at the Duck. Thanks to all.
With the pink Icarex rig my V6 weighs, ready to sail, 1291 gms and my V5 weighs 1307 gms. Both hulls have the cheap original type sail winch.

Good stuff Col. If I had read this some 4 or 5 years ago I would never have purchased the “duct tape special” (version 5) but would have stumped up the extra $50 for a version 6.
