Amazing technology Mike. Well done.
Nice report Col. I thought that as the wind strengthened that the standard sails would do better than the lightweight Icarex, but the results really don’t show that!! Well done Col.
I hope to be back the next 65 day at the Duck. Health is not quite right yet, but the biggest issue may be my transmitter. The one I use for the black hull is not working and I will have to have a crack at setting up the FS-I6 I recently purchased. Of course I bought a Mode 1 not a Mode 2.
Very nice to see some colour. I still enjoy sailing with the pinks.
Well done guys. I stayed home next to the heater!!
Yep.
Good job on the videos Col. Thank you.
Big thanks to Col and Lisa. It was an excellent session and I took heaps away from it.
A ripper day of racing in great conditions. There is no doubt that those of us that had Lisa tune our boats were faster afterwards. The fine adjustments made such a difference.
Apologies to Muffy for my lack of maintenance on the mighty pink sailed V5 – you had your dad beaten!!!
Dave made the correct call.
Nice day at the Duck, with the wind a mystery to some of us. The top end of the fleet were very good today. A great day of racing sailed in very good spirit.
So very true Mike!!
There just may be some cases of too many toys!!
Thanks Gerald.
Some description of these older designs and how they differ from the modern hull shapes would be useful. Also I have no idea of the relative expected speeds of these hulls. A summary of the IOM hull shapes would be good – anyone know of such a document?
Some very close racing at the Duck today. Lady luck played her part and positions were constantly changing until the finish line was crossed.
Thank you guys.
