Audio is there but very very low in volume, if you turn up loud on your PC you can hear it OK.

Overall another great video from Toad Hall Productions. Probably worthy of the Danger Mouse award.

After a mishap (walk of shame) on its maiden flight the DHC-2 Beaver “Harbour Air has been sitting in the corner of the hanger looking rather worse for wear for over 6 months.

With the current weather not conducive with flying it was time to start a few repairs.

Given that the entire section forward of the cabin was reduced to matchsticks, the motor shaft was bent, the firewall & the battery tray were destroyed I figured the first order of business was to replace the motor shaft. Lucky I had one in the spares box that fitted perfectly.

Next was to create a new ply firewall along with a stronger battery tray & motor mount frame.

That all went well so it was then on to designing & 3D printing a new motor cowl (original looked crap anyway) & a dummy 9 cylinder radial engine.

It is now all back together and ready to take to the sky again for it’s second (and hopefully better) maiden flight.

Sounds OK to me, I guess we just need a benefactor with very deep pockets.

Quite right Neil, you need to take the Frog’s ratings with a grain of salt most times.

I thought your flying was excellent, especially given the time elapsed since your last flying exploits.

Another fine video from the Toad Hall Productions camp.

All in all a good “3F” day of fun, frivolity & flying !!

Ah well someone has to do it, otherwise Kermit has no footage for his “Oops” moments.

That’s my excuse & I’m sticking to it.

Good video Mr Frog but what happened to the “Kermit-Cam”, I was looking forward to that !!

Yes, looks like he taught me well.

Unfortunately I’d just fitted a brand new F405 Wing Mini FC unit & GPS and a $50.00 Rx. Next Time I’ll fit a new flight battery as well!!

At least the camera came back to earth so I guess that’s something.

Kermit my man, Great video yet again.

Hopefully I will make it this week.

Wednesday or Thursday looking ok at this stage.

Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves regardless of my absence & didn’t get up to too much mischief.

Nice to see that Stephen has lost none of his flying prowess during his long European sojourn.

You have excelled again with your video of the days happenings Mr Frog.

Yes, David P (your yesterday visitor) has been in touch and is now a paid up member of the motley crew and will no doubt be waiting for the next fly day to come & show off his skills.

Sunday is looking like another very nice flying day & I’ll put the calendar up if anyone is interested. Unfortunately I have been informed that I have another prior engagement (grandkids birthday) so looks like I’ll miss out again.

Oh well, give me a bit longer to get over my recent ailments.

Plenty of work to do to keep me occupied anyway, a few repairs to the biplane (not the foam one) that was involved in an altercation with my grandson & his ride in 4wd truck a little while ago. Also, Fab has dropped his newly acquired flying steeds up to have them programmed to his radio & to get the flight controllers set up.

Like they say, no rest for the wicked.

Another fine video of the days action. Thanks Mr Kermit

No need for comments from me as Kermit summed the day up perfectly.

May need to stay home today to continue to thaw out !!
