That’s better, actually works when you assign it to the right user!!

I will get a decent pic of your boat and update your Avatar next time we are sailing together.

Thanks Pete, we still have a way to go with importing files from the old site & a bit of fine tuning.

    Whilst we are still tuning the site, if you find something not working quite right try the following;

    1) Refresh your Browser page

    2) Clear your Browser cache

    3) Send me an Email.

Now I better go look and see why your Avatar is not working.

    Nine Eagles SkyClimber

At long last I have managed to get a chance to maiden the rebuilt NineEagles Sky Climber at the Farm recently and it performed flawlessly  8) (see first flight in the video section).

The only disappointing thing is that it glides better than my big ASW28  :(  just doesn’t look as good though.

Now just need to hook up the FPV gear and it will be complete.  :)

FPV transmitter & camera have been added since the last flight and also a bit of contrast colour scheme, red & black wing tips & tail plane and large double black stripes on the underside of the wings.

The SkyClimber in action @ The Farm today – Low & Slow.

in reply to: Storage & Charging of LiPi batteries (A Warning) #1758

Yes Dave, it doesn’t pay to leave LiPo batteries connected to anything when they are not in use or you are not close at hand.

That goes for chargers as well as vehicles, planes boats etc.

The LiPo batteries should always be removed at the completion of your run and recharged under supervision as soon as possible.

Hi Snit “PROPER JOB” “PROPER JOB” Well done Snit Just one comment viewing the video from over here in the UK ,Might just be my tired oll salt crusted eyes ,BUT, on the water she looks a little down by the head and light in the stern ,Tugs usually the other way round as need that big prop deep as possible for max thrust , Good build well done.

    Hey CP
    Thank you mate.
    Yes you are correct.
At the time that was filmed we where still playing around with the ballasting, and there was also some water in her. fire pump leak.
That is the only time she has been in the water.
Over the next couple of months I will be fine tuning those details and finally call it done.
