Another fabulous write up Shorty, thank you.
We had everything today in the strong gusty swirling wind. It definitely was a dice roll for the Duck Luck today. Fantastic news regarding nine different first placings out of 10 races!
I’ve tried a different resolution with my hat cam this time where I am able to turn on stabilisation. Let’s see how these ones turn out.Race 2

Great write up Bodge. I’m glad the rain stopped right at the start of sailing.
Sadly we didn’t have our RG65 master in attendence today. Althogh, I think Bluey would have given us all a run for our money!

I increased the speed of some of my hat cam videos by four times! Unfortunately, this has made the video jerkier and it is a bit hard to watch in some places.
Unfortunately, my camera and video editing software doesn’t support stabilisation.As we were so busy sailing slow boats, I forgot to change my camera battery over again so I only managed to capture the first three races 😕

Race 4 – Watch out for the duckling attack at approx 11mins. Geoff’s backstay gets nibbled by a duckling which starts it all off!

Great write up and it did appear that everyone was enjoying the sailing in the warm spring weather today. You took some great photos as well 👍
I heard that the DF Invitation day at Risdon Brook Dam for DF65’s is A sail rig. Sailors should make sure they take along that sail.
I thought I’d get a bit of practice with my A rig today against the A+ rigs in preparation for Thursday. Definitely pushed me down the list but was still very enjoyable sailing.
