Tis coming along very nicely.
A good excuse for you to finish your TS2 IOM Mr Kermit, and you have a whole month to do it.
Just as well I double checked the date, thought it was this week. Hopefully the weather will be on the improve by 8th July.

I guess this would qualify then ?
Now that the “Pink Panther” is ready to take to the skies I have moved back to the Wolf build.
Motor has been installed along with the nose skid plate.
Also got the main wing & ailerons printed out & found some 1/4″ CF rod for the wing reinforcement. Have printed the servo cover plates, wing braces & elevator servo mount so that should now be all the printing completed although I may re print the servo covers in red & perhaps redo the hatch cover as its a tad rough.
Hopefully will get the wing glued together & painted with clear acrylic today ready to install the servos.
Looking just like a bought one.
Don’t forget to check the COG this time!!.
I got the “Pink Panther” completed yesterday so she is ready to maiden next flying day as well.
It’s already been crash tested, Pyro knocked it off the table with his tail and it broke the engine mount, luckily it was easily fixed.

Yet another fine video from the Toad Hall production team. Worth the wait.
The Eclipson Gö 1 Wolf is progressing nicely. Apart from some minor internal fittings (motor mount, servo mount etc) the Wolf only needs the main wings to be printed & fitted.
One thing that is nice with the Eclipson build is that ALL G-Codes work correctly whether they be LW-PLA, PLA, or TPU-Flex, all parameters are preset so no fiddling required. Also the G-Code files pre prime the head for all filaments by printing a prime strip along the side of the printer bed. This is great as you can load the file & filament, press print and know it will work correctly. No failed prints at all with this build.
I’ll now switch back to the Cub and get the electronics completed & tested ready to fly Sunday (hopefully). The Wolf will be on the back burner till then
Still a work in progress, always little bits to finish off.
Another crappy day outside, blowing a gale & raining to boot, so continuing along with the Wolf glider build,
The red tabs are TPU Flex hinges for the elevators & the black tabs are PLA+ joiners to align the parts when gluing.
Tail components printed
Ready to paint & then glue together.
Just give me some advanced notice Bodge & I’ll bring the “Buddy Box” along so you can have a try at “assisted” flying.
Looking good Ron, I’ll get my servos installed today hopefully and the “Pink Panther” will also be ready to maiden.
The “Wolf” will be a bit longer as I haven’t started the main wings yet.
I’m not yet convinced about Friday but if you are happy with it post the calendar & I’ll come along, as I’m sure will many others. Just be sure to pack a wind liking plane or two, just in case.
No problems, thanks Gerald. I’ll grab some tomorrow before I start painting the stripes on the Wolf.
Prefit & then glue is a good idea, amazing what you find when you read the supplied notes. Certainly should be easier as they lock together quite well.
What clearcoat do you use before painting?
I painted straight onto the printed parts but it’s a bit hit & miss. Looks ok from a few feet away though !!
