For a change you are right Kermit!

The “REAL” sailors were sailing their scale boats around the canal today, while the “BLOATERS” were drifting around up at the jetty. (When they finally got there)

    My little video from today,

David, Yes they are the correct cells but I use the Samsung INR18650-30Q they are 3000 mAh but are rated at 15 amp discharge where the Panasonic/Sanyo are only rated for 10 amps but are 3500mAh.

These batteries don’t have as big voltage sag on load like the Panasonics. (dropouts on take off!)

I wouldn’t recommend the Laptop batteries as they can’t deliver enough current.

I have a battery spot welder, so can make up packs for you.

Panasonic and Sanyo are the same batteries just branded under two different names.

Another option is to use a LiPo battery, 2S 1100-1500mAh

Now it all makes sense, I was trying to work out how you could change the outputs without plugging in the computer?

Well done, it could have been a much worse result.

I think we need a new safety officer?

Kermit, my plane landed perfectly, no dents, no broken bits, on the wheels, so the answer is NO!

    Nice video Kermit!

But as usual you got it all wrong again, the first walk of shame you had me doing was me actually doing my good deed for the day, I was retrieving Mike’s canopy which blew off mid flight. which you can see me carrying back.

The second so called walk of shame was me coming in to land and seeing our beloved president standing in the way I took immediate action and steered out of his way. and landing perfectly, just a bit far away. (and on the wheels not like others)

Can’t argue with that Kermit, I have watched the “BLOATER’s” running aground on the other shore every 5 minutes, getting stuck in the mud, getting weed caught around the keel and rudder, running into innocent camera boats, duck an seagull poo everywhere, it must be exciting otherwise you wouldn’t do it every week?

You will have to get your IOM going and bring it down to the Forcett Lakes (Golf Course), we can get Ricky to measure it for you. (we know how you like to stick to the rules).

Kermit, you should go to specsavers, the headline said “REAL BOATS” not “real sailing”?????????????????????????

It’s on the east coast so it’s always warmer than Hobart! (That’s what Ricky tells us)

I agree with Mike, could be one of the settings, there is also a option on the flight controller for the type of battery we can also check that.
