Yeah go on …. rub it in.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good write up Bodge, thanks for your gentlemanly reporting of the Admirals’ fountin’ mountin’ today. Both Trout and I suffered the indignity of a gust at a critical moment putting us in harms way.
Great day out for the ‘duckers this one.?
Thanks for your input Kermit. This survey is for DF65 only with an A+ rig and battery loaded, measured in grams. The weight of your normal battery on its own and type of winch you are using (analog/digital).
Big nose, short nose these are not classes I’m familiar with. Thanks Pete!
Thanks Kyle.
Yep, mine is 1280. Probably the light weight Icarex sails making a difference there.
Sixteen weights recorded so far, thank you everyone who has sent theirs in. The more data we can add the better and more definitive the results will be. To add your yacht data to the mix please send the weight of your DF65 with A+ rig on and battery installed, ie as if ready to put in the water. Include the version of your hull and battery type/weight too so that these can be taken into account.
Kitchen scales are fine as weights can be confirmed at our next DF65 meeting when I bring along a set of digital scales and a jig made for the task. Thanks Matt
This has opened an interesting topic in our group. Sheep tells me his is 1335 grams!
Will post mine later but as it’s a new hull I’m suspecting it will be over by heaps too.Excellent! Thanks Jammy.
Thanks Bodge great to have you with us.
Shouldn’t take us long with a crew, then we can get into the fun stuff sooner! Thanks Gadget. Thanks too for your efforts this past year in making our sailing days run smoothly.
Thanks Gadget. Yes you still have some credit left after all the good work you do for us. The Hawaiian shirt might be pushing it though. 😉
Thanks Bodge, a great day to be out with the ‘duckers!
