I just measured my Fox and its shrunk to 2.32 metres. There were good thermals for a while today as I had 2 long Fox flights. I also flew the HK Parkjet with a new 12 blade ducted fan for the first time after the 5 blade fan broke. My poor Drifter, F16 and Eagles didnt get to fly today. I have 5 videos as I got 18 video files from Rian’s drone (actually sd card inside his DJI goggles. 3 videos are from last week 29th September and I think the GMA needs reawarding based on these. We can have a vote and I say give to Rian!

Last week entry numer one from Rian:

Last week entry number two from Rian and myself as its of my Fox!

Bonus content from last week from Rian flying his quad around his folks house and yard:

Looks like Uncle G was the only one to prang when he wheel Barrow landed his Esky and stoves in the nose gear. A master at hiding that from the camera!

I got some whale footage from my phone and drone today. David the farmer who owns most of Droughty point let me drive to where he is building his new house on the point. But for some reason he wont let us fly RC planes and gliders on his land.

I thought we were going to have a VTOL day so brought along my XK X450 Aviator. Here is footage with onboard #32 camera:

And my Eyas Eagles had the Flight Controller removed and its much better at going round trees again:

I will bring my VTOL tomorrow for comparison.

I added a cheap old BigAole 6G-AP flight controller to my Esky Eagles. Thats why I sat in middle of field for a while to get GPS lock there. Here is footage when in stabilize mode. Its not good flying thru trees as not precise like when flying without a stabilizer. So I crash landed though no real damage. I suspect I will be taking the flight controller off. Kermit donated all the left over proceeds to the Save the Tree Frog campaign to me to remove all Plover footage so there are no plovers in todays footage. I maybe wrong but think he is going for the GMA for today. In the meantime I just hope Moose is recovering well from the poison barbs he receives from the poisonous frog.

I was too busy nursing my lame friend to think about boating but glad you both had an uneventful time. Looks like no Golden Moose candidate for today?

    Dearest Moose

Thanks for letting me kiss your bruise better and for the award. You will be on all four hoofs soon despite the poison frog words heading your way.

Here is my entry for the Golden Moose award. My Fox suffered many scars to get this footage so I cant believe the award has already been given. I think there should be a revote or seperate award for airclips.

The plovers and I will be a strong contender for the Golden Moose award but I had work this arvo and evening so expect videos tomorrow.
