Just make sure they have the hotplate with it. Most of the cheaper 2 burner BBQ’s DON’T have the hotplate and it is difficult to get as a spare.
If it has the hotplate it is around 50% off so a good buy. Normally just under $100.00 these days.
Your sloper flew very well Ron, especially giving it was your first try.
Well done
Kermit, me old mate, I’m afraid MTT Green doesn’t work for me.
After flying fast in the strong wind yesterday with the Bix 2 Sport and the little mishap over lunch when she was picked up and cart wheeled along the ground by a very strong wind gust, the original water transfer stickers (that I quite liked)…….
……. were unfortunately a little (well actually a lot) worse for wear so today whilst repairing the damaged wing tip & rudder (from the same incident) I decided to remove all the stickers & come up with a new, painted on colour scheme.
Repairs have been completed and all the old water transfer stickers removed. Now to just decide on a colour scheme.
My original Bix 2 Predator Sport was a Red & Black colour scheme on top & Orange underneath so need something a bit different this time.
Bad Angel (Ross) also has a similar problem with his Bix 3 with all the original stickers looking more tattered every time he flies. After a strip down & clean he is proposing an all black livery for his so I guess I can go with anything except all black!! Maybe Hot Pink all over, then again perhaps not.
Touche
(I had to google that one but quite appropriate)
Another quality video production there Mr BA.
Yes it was a tad windy but I didn’t hear one pilot say Its too windy, I can’t fly today.
Think everyone enjoyed themselves regardless.
A bit less wind would have been nice though to get the Prowler FPV back in the air.
Your welcome my little green mate.
That was awful close to that tree young Ron.
A perfect misrepresentation (or is that a quote out of context) by leaving out the principal words “at least sometimes”.
However, I will forgive you.
You are correct Kermit (which proves that at least sometimes good things come from the mouth of the frog),
just a matter of getting everyone to use it.
As we knew with flying whilst we were using email & text messages as well as the calendar a lot opted to NOT use the calendar. Now it is the only option as far as flying goes everyone has figured out how to use it and it works great.
Yes Col, as one of the seven pilots that took to the skies on Tuesday @ The Field, I agree with your assessment of the day, cool morning with a cold & lazy breeze. Luckily where we were the sun came out & the wind died out completely by lunch time so we also had a great time.
The last of my videos from today is up & I even remembered to add a music track just for Kermit. Gets a bit hard to remember anything after 6 or 8 or 10 beers. I think its bed time if I can make it up the stairs.
Oh, and there was me, thinking it was the cows!!
Apart from the minor mishap at the end you have the wing flying very well now.
Don’t worry Mr Moose, the 10R “BattleAxe” well & truly beat the pants off the pretender, I was just being polite & giving him his 15 minutes of fame before posting the evidence.
No not a wolf, just a very friendly Akita that wanted to say hello.
