Looks like a wild and woolly fun day was had by the crazy ones !!

Sounds like a fun day was had by all. I have been slaving away all day helping my son build a new deck.  Hopefully make it back to the Duck next week.

Another quality production there Mr B.A.

Sure was a great day Ricky, and all the planes came home, that must almost be a first.

In all fairness to the Marine Modellers group there were still 2 on the water but I believe a few of the others suffered a few mechanical failures today.

I guess the change from 2019 to 2020 was just too much for their finely tuned scale models.

Anyway we had fun as always, here is a bit of video from onboard Rescue 17.

Kingy’s eh, I guess you were fishing out off the east coast then. We fished Frederick Henry yesterday and got a feed of size ones just but probably threw back 30 or more just over 300

Another nice one Gerald, I didn’t realise just how overcast the day was but the Mavic footage sure shows it up.

Glad to hear that Ricky, I know it happens to the best of pilots and always looks worse when it first happens.

I think the old Steam Punk Flyer will also go back together again if only to finish testing that bloody T1000FS auto pilot. I’m just re printing a new motor mount and the rest of it is just a bit of glue & reinforcing tape.

Sorry Kermie but I’ll have to take Uncle G’s side here, when I came past just after 10:00am there were indeed 2 boats on the water at the Western end.
I think participation was about even as we also had 2 boats (or maybe 3) on the water, just not for very long. Anyway it’s the thought that counts and everyone was out enjoying fresh air, even if not sailing

    Well at least we tried.

And I’m sure we will do it all again in 2020, only better.

in reply to: AND YET ANOTHER FLAMIN BIGGER GLIDER #4132

All you need is a good downhill run & I’m sure it will get airborne.

in reply to: Yet another BIG glider #4127

Yes Gerald, looking OK, hopefully it will also fly OK. Just finishing off the pilot & passenger to add to the scale look.

I’ve installed an A3 V2 stabiliser just to see how it flies but if it goes well I’ll install the FY-41AP so I have full Auto Pilot capabilities before any long range FPV flights.

Race 2, 3, 4 & 5 videos have now been added to post

No, No Kermie, you’ve got it all wrong. Well at least the wrong “Fat Man”

This is to whom I was referring
