Excellent write up again Col. I think this one might be your best one yet!

It’s a slow process working though the wobbly hat cam video but the Race one is now uploaded.

More will follow as I managed to capture quite a few races today.

Hey Mike, would a metal detector find a microSD in long grass?

I don’t have one but if we could find someone who has one, it might be worth a try.

Here is my short video of hat cam footage.

I’ve tried a bit more experimenting with on screen text and transitions to next scenes etc.

I alway like the “Around the field” videos Mike.

An eventful day of flying indeed.

Here is my first attempt at trying out the new video editing software. I still need to practice a bit more…

Fixed now Col.  Thanks for pointing it out 🙂

Oops, copy, paste from wrong spreadsheet! I amended the DF95 at the top but didn’t pay attention to the columns.

    Thank you Bodge.

You captured the day perfectly 👍

Great write up Bodge.  Very exciting sailing today and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

Here is a handy idea for when you need to put your transmitter down in the event you need to get something out of the car, assist with writing down finishing placings on the scoresheet or go to the loo!

Work on both mode 1 and mode 2 transmitters.

Mode 1 transmitter is depicted in the video.

    Well done Mr Kermit

    Thank you Mike.

I might have to invest in one of those cameras that level the horizon.

Once again, very well written Col.

Here are some of the races from my hat cam today.  I’ve left out the really crooked ones and the ones mostly of the sky!  My camera battery went flat after race 5.

You captured the day’s events well Kermit.  No sound is good cause you can’t hear all the swearing!!

Hi Mike, the tail of the spitfire was a bit flimsy and past it’s use by date maybe.

Something wasn’t quite right with it when it got in the air and was quite uncontrolable.

All good though, I didn’t expect it to last very long. It was great to build and fly.

Journey starts with more beer now.

Yes, perfect weather today. Good choice of day.

Just one short sad video from me:
