    WELL DONE PRED         TOUCHE

in reply to: Predators Mount Gay 30 rebuild #3117

Tugboat cobber to set you strait on the “shoot up” we had moved from our flying field to lauderdale canal for our usual BBQ now there is a pecking order in our group an its an age thing  predator being the eldest  ( 81 )starts the BBQ bad angel is second  (79) so on an so on ….any one under 75 is a newbee   (that’s me at 71  )  I’m the only one…….  any transgressions by a newbee is quickly stomped on by the elders  my fault was I used bad angels sauce on my hamburger with out asking………. as in the pecking order  you don’t just go and sit with them you wait until invited   so whilst waiting I wandered onto the grass  and as you saw the rest is history  and you asked why no one came to my assistance , a lot of cars going past slowed down but I think they were intimidated by the rough necks at the BBQ to stop…… unless predator raises his finger no one moves to render assistance (such is the power of our leader )  Im not one to tell ferfies  trust me this is the truth ……. getting back to you   TUGBOAT  this name conjures up a vision of a portly fella  true? just curious   Nick names reflect a person   like” bad angel”   predator ..me ..UNCLE G so tugboat  that can be a start to your first post……   look through our site and enjoy our fun   Regards…. kermit la frog

now you all know when i do a write up its truthful  and unbiased   as it is today   if my boat was going fair dinkem she would have whipped the lot of yas  but unfortunately she had too many issues  so was retired for the day  but this gave me the opportunity to observe  the motley crew crashing bumping and other devious actions  unobserved by the rest deep into their own thing  all I can say is thank the gods we don’t have official observers  this gentle men is true sailing  you want to win  then go for it  rules are good at times but in the heat of very good competition  going for it is far more fun  as was shown in UNCLE G and Long Tall’s  tussles …. it was a bit of a disappointment that no one wanted to park on the fountain  but this PHIL fella is  one to watch the fountain will get him soon enough…. Justin and Paul were fun to watch-with their toy boats… to bad about today’s sailing with Ricky”s Mountagay boat he was always there but when he came behind a few ……they just took off leaving the mountagay boat wondering “why”  Stuart was fantastic  as the pro brilliant work to be fair to the other pros Stuart  had a easy job  he could have just put down on the score sheet  UNCLE G    UNCLE G   UNCLE G   hard to beleave I taught (UNCLE G )everything about sailing isn’t it An we did miss Pete and Predator…….I watched Don he’s a sly one  he just slips past and no one notices until the race to the finish  an then he’s just  there   “how ”  sorry if I missed someone   so that’s it  damn good day

NICE WORK deconstructing the superbly named  Badger II for the necessary work……  Reminders me of my missus after 100 odd years things do fail  flatten out, warp, sag. expand etc  but she can still be sailed  by a master mariner who knows how to sail an old vessel but with the ol thing the cost of repair is prohibitive soooo like badger a bit of glue  plaster an paint she will sail for a few more years    ( SORRY I CANT SUPPLY PICTURES )

Today I was intimidated  by a boootiful woman ( sue ) not by her damn good looks but by her voice   I was afraid  I was very afraid   her poor hubby was late in putting his boat in the pond  when boooming across the water came   “PUT THE BOAT IN THE WATER ”  I NEAR WET MYSELF   I can handle blokes  an kids but this one   I’m movin way down the bank  if she comes again  ……………..narh just jokin  I’ll be on the other side   Good to see ol pinkie back and in form (buggar him )  twas nice for awhile to have someone to sail with today me ol mate john  he was having a bad day….. ……well he would if he was sailing along with me ay   long tall put on new sails that on the day failed  so an auction is going to take place but I recon it was just the day so I think  longtall should give them a chance and sail them for at least 6 months straight as for Ricky and his gay boat  ( mountagay) wait for predator cobber  your number is up preds boat now has a real name nothing gay about his boat  wasn’t uncle g a quite lad today  strategist dedicated  driven for the win  but still can be beaten   (soon as I get new sails )   very unusual for Grahame to be back in the field  musta been the weed   all in all not a bad day

YOU COULD USE THAT FOR DEAR OL DAVE

in reply to: RBRYC DF95 sailors visit Puddleduck #3057

I recon that would be neat as long as our rules applied  and all boats use a sea anchor  except mine ………no problem from me

Where were the rest of the girls today  if its raining were inside if its windy were inside soooooo what’s going on girls  if as I suspect that your afraid to race against the green machine then that I can understand……….  your fear is justified as shown today with dear ol DON  yapping at my stern so often………….. I would relinquish my  humongous leads so as the boy wouldn’t get  to depressed being at the stern of the fleet so often. Now Graham caught on real quick  he saw that the mighty green machine was an animal that devoured little boats so he wisely removed himself from harms way real quick  a wise skipper indeed …….. as for UNCLE G   this young fella can go a long way  like staying at Lauderdale  canal  then there’s long tall  a Red boat to be feared by lesser skippers but not the green machine  who is waiting for the day ………………….like.when he’s not at the pond  seriously  I can beat them both  but I cant be bothered  repainting the boat  because of the speed generated by  the g machine through the water it just peels back the paint after I let her loose  and that upsets the other skippers having to sail through the paint debris so I don’t do it  …..its a sacrifice I’m prepared to make every now an then  oh an the rumour circulating as to why  predator and pinki wouldn’t be sailing today  is true……   fear……     fear of the green machine is a wonderful thing  when its a reality….AN IT IS

YOU GO FOR IT BOY …..an that’s a great write up

GEEPERS PRED OL COBBER  about time you put a real name on the gay liberation boat  this is a family site  people don’t want to read a story like    mount gay was behind the leader but with a spurt bumped his riveral   and pushed  him aside with a cracked stern   limping helpless  to the ravages of  the multi coloured  Mt gays  descending on him    that’s how some writer could write a story   so much nicer to write miss piggy was behind the leader and trotted up to her riveral  bumped him and    grappled him  freed herself and moved on  now isn’t that nicer    just a thought cobber
